On this fine spring day, Ancient Order of
Hibernians from across the State of Minnesota met at St.
Thomas Church in Jessenland. At this gathering, the
divisions celebrated Founders Day and admitted new
members to our Order.
Jessenland,
being the site of the oldest Irish settlement in
Minnesota, gives a sense of history and struggle that
befits the celebration of Founders Day. The day was well
attended by our local members, families and clergy.
Following the Shamrock Degree
Instruction and Induction Ceremony, Catholic mass was
co-celebrated by Fr. Berger and Fr. Salsburg.
